During the Best Tall Building Awards in November Roberto Meyer gave an interview about the key points and spearheads of the New Babylon (re)development.
Keeping the better part of the old Babylon, as opposed to demolishment was an eminent starting point. He expresses his views on transformation of the out of date building stock of the 1970s, the future of Dutch cities, the need for densification and creating new (public) space.
The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has now published the video interviews of the 2013 Awards Symposium. MVSA Architects are a CTBUH-member.
