The Project
On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Municipality of Amsterdam and KanAm Grund Group signed a Letter of Intent in Amsterdam for the development of a high-quality mixed-use project in Amsterdam ArenaPoort West, part of the Zuidoost growth corridor. The development encompasses a total of approximately 250 homes with a co-living concept, a public green courtyard, and approximately 40,000 square meters of office space, divided into two building volumes. The plinth of this innovative building will feature various retail and hospitality spaces.
The Future of ArenAPoort
These additions not only optimize the amenities for the future users of the project but are also intended for the visitors of ArenAPoort West, whose numbers are expected to grow significantly in the coming years due to the ambitious plans that the Municipality of Amsterdam has for the area. In addition to addressing the urgent demand for housing, this development also meets the increasing demand from office users seeking high-quality, comfortable, and sustainable spaces that were not previously available at this level in Amsterdam Zuidoost. MVSA and Space&Matter were jointly responsible for the preliminary design of the offices and the residences.
