MVSA Architects sees the office building as the completion of an architectural 'triangle' around the IJ, which also consists of the EYE Film Museum and the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. The fact that the building was allowed to be twice as high as the others on the Danzigerkade enhanced the possibility of giving the building a prominent appearance.
The twelve-storey, 12,000-square-metre building leans slightly forward. Thanks to the dynamic design and the use of (white) aluminum, steel and glass in the facade, the building has a maritime appearance. Employees and visitors of the companies can relax and enjoy the view of lounge decks and the roof terraces.
The floors have an open floor plan with transparent walls. In this way, flexibility and communication must be promoted, a lot of daylight floods in and as many employees as possible can benefit from the view.
