Het Slotervaart featured in the July/August edition of Hello Zuidas!

Het Slotervaart is more than the transformation of a former hospital. It is the creation of a new urban ecosystem where healthcare, research, education and entrepreneurship come together under one roof.
Designed by MVSA Architects, the rooftop extension gives the building a distinctive new silhouette while strengthening its mixed-use identity. Two light, transparent office floors complement the existing structure, creating flexible space for innovation, collaboration and panoramic views across Amsterdam.
Since reopening, Het Slotervaart has grown into a vibrant healthcare hub where more than 50 healthcare organisations are shaping the future of care together.
We are proud to have contributed to this next chapter in the building's history, demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can preserve heritage while creating new opportunities for the city and its communities.
