Of the six categories, the category Habitat (applications and establishments in the private or public space) comprised of five finalists. The jury, led by Jan Konings, unanimously chose Rotterdam Centraal as winning project.

“Rotterdam Central Station brings together excellent architecture, urban landscaping and arrangement of public space. The new station creates space and actually gives the visitor the feeling to be travelling. The cooperation between various disciplines has led to a phenomenal result.”

The work of the finalists and winners can be seen during the whole Dutch Design week in the TAB building in Strijp-T. One can still vote their favourite finalist for the Frame Public Award until October 25th of which the award be announced on October 26th.
