Designed by MVSA Architects and Stefano Boeri Architetti, Wonderwoods is a pioneering vertical forest and mixed-use complex located in the heart of Utrecht’s Beurskwartier. It combines more than 400 homes, nearly 15,000 m² of office space, and a wealth of facilities—including hospitality spaces, coffee bars, a restaurant, and sports facilities—all wrapped in a lush green façade of over 360 trees and more than 9,600 plants.
Commissioned by G&S&, Wonderwoods exemplifies the fusion of architecture and nature—an urban oasis that supports biodiversity, urban living, and healthy microclimates. Wonderwoods redefines how cities can grow greener, healthier, and more inclusive.
